Sugar/ice - BlackStar
A captivating nano crystal caviar for nails. Blackstar, aptly named, is opaque, lustrous jet black crystal cuts with uncommon star-like flash. You'll feel like you're floating happily among the fashion cosmos with a subtle black AB effect at low lit viewing angles.
SUGAR | ice is sourced and developed proprietarily from labs worldwide for the tiniest, most mesmerizing quality, spectral fire and ideally beautiful cuts imaginable.
Each SUGAR | ice box contains: 2,000 secure, electrostatically vacuum sealed cuts of ice, a funneling gem tray and a bag for easy storage, cleaning and drying options.
When I reclaim mine, I just soak them off almost the usual way.
I file the free edge, push back cuticle.
I apply and remove the foils after about 5-8 minutes and tap them out onto an unbleached paper or coffee filter, then reapply the foil to my nail. I find the whole upper layer of ice pushes right off or most are in the foil and tap out easily, being heavier than gel polish.
From there, I can drop acetone onto them and massage them gently - any gel pulls away from them since they are <1 MOH off natural diamond hardness, much harder than cured gel.
Final step, drop IPA onto them and allow them to dry right on the same paper filter, or after they are funneled into the organza bag. I find the organza bag turned inside out to avoid seams a really simple cleansing and drying tool with isopropyl alcohol.
Reclaim steps, simple version, gel polish:
Tap out onto unbleached paper or coffee filter
Drop of acetone, massage gently
Polish: Drop of IPA, massage gently, air dry
Rebox for storage
Steps are the same as above for lacquer reclamation, just no soak off and it's easier to use a lint free wipe or unbleached coffee filter to remove them from the nail than a fibrous cotton or porous sponge.
